About the Series

Ovulation Series (2024) is a body of work that investigates the embodied experience of cyclical time, hormonal change, and reproductive becoming. Drawing from the phenomenology of hormonal affect and somatic transformation, the series activates performance and VR to consider how cyclical bodies register time, presence, and affective responsiveness.

Each iteration engages the body in different registers of perception — from virtual embodiment to visceral physicality — to explore how cyclical processes shape subjectivity, memory, and interspecies relationality.
