This two- hour durational Butoh dance performance art explores the complex and cyclical nature of female reproductive function through the symbolic representation of ovulation and the egg. The otherness of Butoh dance, with its poetic and sculptural body movements, embodies the visceral tension between biology and physicality, defining the female body’s reproductive journey.
